Hello, I am a school psychologist working in the public education system in Greece. For my master’s thesis in Critical Pedagogy, I am planning to implement a series of DLG meetings in a classroom of middle school students, in collaboration with the class’s Literature professor. I would like to investigate whether the participation of socially excluded students in this intervention will have an impact on their sense of belonging in the school community. Any methodological tips are welcome!

I would also like to know whether there is a network of schools implement dialogic methodologies that we could join, in order to exchange our practice and experiences.

Thank you in advance for your time and for offering this space!

Wow, Anny, that sounds like a fascinating research project! I have just completed a similar thesis on inclusive education and the impact of dialogic learning. The overriding methodology was quite challenging but structured qualitative interviews and observational notes brought out students’ experiences so well. You might find some typed studies there as well from a few schools in Europe that focused on dialogic methodologies. I had to use a thesis writing service near me to clear things up for me while I was doing research, and it helped me tremendously with clarity and organization. Good luck with your study!
